PARENT AS TEACHERS (PAT)

Welcome to Parent As Teachers (PAT)! We invite you to explore our international, evidence-based home visiting program designed to support the early development, health, and learning of your little ones. By engaging and empowering parents and caregivers like you, we’re here to foster school readiness and healthy development for children from birth to age five.
Our program is free and is especially designed for first-time parents, young teens and young adults, as well as families facing challenges such as abuse or high risks of poverty. We believe in providing support every step of the way.
Join us in discovering the four dynamic components of The Parent As Teachers Model: Personal Visit, Group Connections, Screenings, and Resource. Each element is crafted to nurture your growth as a parent.

PERSONAL VISIT

Enjoy the flexibility of virtual or physical home visits tailored to fit your needs. You take the lead in setting the agenda, while our parent educator shares research-based insights to help you make confident parenting choices.

GROUP CONNECTIONS

Connect with fellow parents in our monthly group gatherings where you can share experiences, support one another, and learn about a range of parenting topics. It’s a wonderful opportunity to build friendships and a strong support network!

SCREENINGS

Keep your child safe, healthy, and on track with regular screenings during your visits. If any concerns arise, we’re dedicated to connecting you with the right specialists to ensure your child receives the best care.

RESOURCE

Our Parent Educator is here to link you with vital community resources. As an added bonus, active families receive monthly support in the form of gift cards, diaper supplies, free book each visit and other helpful resources to make your parenting journey a little easier.
